DESCRIPTION:The Second National Summit for K-5 Computer Science Education will be held virtually on March 30\, 2023 from 12pm to 2pm ET.  It’s free and for All K-5 Principals\, Superintendents\, and STEM/CS Educators and Advocates. \nThe CS is Elementary Mission –  It’s this simple: There will not be Equity or equal opportunity in our country without universal K-5 CS education. This literacy is essential to our children’s future\, in nearly any field or life path they choose. Even middle school is too late: Wait that long\, and we will not build this defining literacy and self-belief in the majority of our children\, especially children of color\, the poor\, girls and rural youth.  The answer is universal K-5 CS education\, which should be an explicit expectation of every school\, the next top priority of the CSforAll movement\, and an imperative for everyone who cares about Equity\, social justice\, education\, and national economic preparedness.
